Description

Beef ramen noodles combine rich, hearty beef broth with satisfying noodles and customizable toppings, making it a comforting, globally loved dish. Whether instant or homemade, its versatility and depth of flavor make it a favorite for every occasion.


Ingredients

  • 300g beef (chuck roast or flank steak)

  • Ramen noodles (fresh or dried)

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 4 cups beef stock

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp mirin

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp grated ginger

  • Soft-boiled eggs (2)

  • Carrots, spinach, and mushrooms

  • Green onions, sliced

  • Nori (seaweed)

  • Sesame seeds

  • Chili oil


Instructions

Prepare the Broth:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.

  2. Add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2 minutes.

  3. Pour in beef stock, soy sauce, and mirin. Bring to a boil.

  4. Add beef and reduce heat. Simmer for 1.5–2 hours until beef is tender.

Cook the Noodles: 5. In a separate pot, boil water and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions (3–5 minutes). Drain and set aside.

Prepare Toppings: 6. Soft-boil eggs for 6 minutes, peel, and halve them.
7. Slice green onions and prep other toppings like nori and sesame seeds.

 

Assemble the Bowl: 8. Place cooked noodles in a bowl.
9. Ladle in the broth with beef.
10. Add toppings and drizzle chili oil if desired.
11. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store broth and noodles separately to keep them fresh for leftovers.

  • For a healthier version, use lean beef cuts and low-sodium broth.
