Instructions

Activate Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm goat milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Combine Wet & Dry: Add yeast mix, melted butter, honey, and egg (if using) into the well. Mix to form shaggy dough.

Knead: Knead dough for 8–10 mins until smooth. Use stand mixer or do by hand.

First Rise: Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1–1.5 hrs until doubled.

Shape Dough: Punch down, shape into a loaf, and place in a greased pan.
