Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

8 oz egg noodles, ramen, or linguine

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)

1 tbsp cornstarch

1/2 cup beef broth or water

1 tbsp sesame oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp grated ginger

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions

Cook noodles according to package. Drain, toss with sesame oil, and set aside.

Brown beef in a large skillet (6–8 mins). Drain excess fat.

Add garlic and ginger, sauté 30 seconds.

Whisk sauce: soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, cornstarch, broth. Add to pan.

Simmer sauce for 2–3 mins until thickened.

Add noodles, toss to coat. Simmer 2 more mins.

Serve hot, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
